QR Code Links To: Simple Google Form - Name - Phone number - Email - How did you feel after today's session? (builds positive reinforcement)

Instructor Action: Personally hand this to each participant with eye contact and warm smile. "I'm so glad you joined us today. I really hope to see you next week."

🕑 HOUR 1 - IMMEDIATELY AFTER SESSION

Personal Voice Note (WhatsApp or SMS)

Why voice? Intimate, human, unexpected - 2x higher conversion than text alone

Assigned To: Session Leader or designated Community Connector

Script (record naturally, don't read robotically):

"Hi [Name], this is [Instructor Name] from tonight's meditation. I just wanted to say I'm really glad you joined us! I noticed you seemed so peaceful during the practice. I hope you're still feeling that calm. We'd love to see you again next Wednesday at 7. Let me know if you have any questions! Talk soon."

Length: 15-20 seconds max Tone: Warm, personal, genuine (not salesy)

Technical Setup: - Use WhatsApp voice message (preferred - feels more personal) - OR use voice memo + MMS if no WhatsApp - Send within 1 hour of session ending

Scalability: Each Community Connector handles 10 participants max - 50 attendees = 5 Community Connectors needed

🕐 HOUR 12 - NEXT MORNING (8-9 AM)

SMS Reminder

Platform: Twilio (automated) OR WhatsApp (manual)

Message:

Good morning [Name]! Still feeling that calm from yesterday? 😊

Quick reminder: Next Wednesday, 7pm - we'll be here.

Try this today: The 3-breath reset we practiced.
Breathe in for 4, hold for 4, out for 6. Repeat 3x.

Reply YES to save your spot! 🧘‍♀️

- [Instructor Name]

Why morning? Catch them fresh, before stress of day builds

Call-to-Action: Reply YES - Automated response: "You're in! See you Wed at 7pm. Address: [location]. Bring a friend!" - Triggers: Add to "Week 2 confirmed" list in tracker

Technical Note: If using Twilio, set up automated flow in Sprint 0 (see file 08)

📅 DAY 2 (36-48 Hours After Session)

Email with Social Proof

From: Session instructor (personal email, not generic noreply@) Subject: "You're not alone in this journey, [Name]"

Email Body:

Hi [Name],

I've been thinking about our meditation session on Wednesday, and I wanted
to share something with you.

Last month, Sarah came to her first community meditation. She was skeptical
— "just trying it out," she said. Three weeks later, she told me it's the
only hour of her week she truly feels at peace. She hasn't missed a session since.

You reminded me of Sarah. The way you showed up, even though meditation
might have felt unfamiliar. That takes courage.

This Wednesday, Sarah will be there. So will Marcus, who's been coming for
6 months. And Priya, who just started 2 weeks ago. We're all on this journey
together.

Will you join us?

When: Wednesday, 7:00 PM
Where: [Address with parking/metro info]
Bring: Just yourself (and a friend if you'd like!)

[BUTTON: I'll be there]

P.S. Here's a 60-second video of why some of our community members keep
coming back: [embedded video or link]

With gratitude,
[Instructor Name]
[Phone number]

Video Content (60 seconds max): - Film 2-3 regular participants - Question: "Why do you keep coming back to these meditations?" - Authentic, unscripted responses - Film with phone (doesn't need to be polished, authenticity > production value)

Design: Simple, clean email (not heavy graphics). Mobile-friendly.

🔔 DAY 6 (2 Days Before Next Session)

Feel free to bring a friend - newcomers always welcome.

Questions? Text me: [Instructor phone]

What to bring: Nothing! Just come as you are.

🧘‍♀️ See you soon!

Why this works: Goes straight to their phone/work calendar. Creates commitment device.

Send Timing: Sunday evening (2 days before Wednesday session)

📱 DAY 7 - SESSION DAY (3 Hours Before)

Final SMS Nudge

- [Instructor]

Tone: Light, friendly, no pressure Purpose: Top-of-mind reminder during afternoon

💡 THE SECRET SAUCE: Meditation Buddy System

Graduate Ambassador Integration

Each of your 30 graduate Ambassadors takes 3-4 newcomers as "buddies"

Buddy Responsibilities: - Text check-in between Week 1 and Week 2: "Hey! How was your week? Did you try the breathing technique?" - Sit near them at Week 2 session (builds familiarity) - Introduce them to 2-3 other regulars - Invite them for tea/coffee after Week 3 (relationship building)

Why This Works: - Human connection > automated systems - People stay for community, not just practice - Graduates feel valued and engaged - Newcomers feel welcomed, not anonymous

Buddy Assignment: - Community Connector assigns buddy within 24 hours of first session - Text intro: "[Name], meet [Graduate Name]! They've been part of our meditation community for [X months]. I've asked them to be your buddy - they'll check in with you this week!"

Retention Metrics to Track

Week 1 → Week 2

Target: 60% return rate Track: Google Sheet with columns: - Name - Phone - Email - First Session Date - Voice note sent? (Y/N) - Morning SMS response - Email opened? (if using email platform with tracking) - Buddy assigned (name) - Attended Week 2? (Y/N)

Week 2 → Week 3

Target: 75% return rate Why higher?: By Week 2, they're committed or they're out

Week 4 → Intro Talk Signup

Target: 50% of Week 4 attendees sign up for intro talk

A/B Testing (Sprint 1)

Test 1: Voice Note vs. Text-Only - Group A: Gets voice note at Hour 1 - Group B: Gets text message at Hour 1 - Measure: Week 2 return rate for each group

Test 2: Morning Timing - Group A: SMS at 8 AM - Group B: SMS at 11 AM - Measure: Response rate and Week 2 attendance

Test 3: Email with Video vs. Email Text-Only - Group A: Gets email with embedded testimonial video - Group B: Gets email with written testimonials - Measure: Email open rate and Week 2 attendance

Murat's mandate: Test aggressively Week 1. Double down on winners Week 2.
